TCNJ Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex

Grades 9-12, Graduation Years (2025, 2026, 2027, 2028)

Payment:       $175 (Pre-Registration Discount through April 19)

                              $185 (Full Registration Price Beginning April 20-24)

                              $190 (Late Registration from April 25-27)

 GENERAL INFORMATION FOR REGISTRATION 

Directions can be located on the “FACILITIES” page to assist you in your travels to TCNJ. Any remaining paperwork will be handled by assistant coach, Robin Selbst, at the Registration table. There will be a sign-in sheet that each participant will need to sign. A Reversible Pinnie will be issued to you for the day to assist with identifying each participant. Please be sure to return it at the end of the day.

REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION WILL RUN FROM 8:15am-8:45am.

Please do not arrive earlier than the scheduled registration time as we will be setting up and preparing for your arrival. An additional email will be sent closer to the event with your specific registration time. Registration will take place at the nearest entrance to the stadium located closest to the Parking Garage. We would greatly appreciate you waiting outside the stadium until your time slot begins. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation.

CAMPUS TOUR

Our players will take you on a tour of the campus to learn more about TCNJ and our women’s field hockey program. Your parents are more than welcome to tour with the group, as well. Please feel free to ask our players questions while on the tour.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Please make sure you arrive with all of the required equipment as TCNJ is unable to offer equipment to individuals due to liability concerns.

Flat-Soled shoes with lateral support (basketball/tennis) or turf shoes with nibs are best to wear on our turf surface.

Field Players: Stick, Mouthguard, Shinguards

Goalkeepers: Stick, Helmet with Throat Protector, Mouthguard, Chest Protector, Girdle, Leg Guards, Kickers, Gloves

WHAT TO BRING

Water will be available to all participants. However, please start the day with a water bottle/thermos filled with water.

Light snacks are optional but a great way to keep your energy level up if needed.

Sunscreen

MEAL

All participants are invited to join our players at Panera Bread. The meal is included in the cost of registration. A follow up e-mail will be sent with menus for both restaurants as we plan to pre-order all of the meals. Please be sure to respond with your selection. Thank you.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located behind the stadium under the archway connecting the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex and the Track & Field Complex.

FAMILY MEMBERS AND RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA

Your parents are more than welcome to stay and watch. However, for their safety, we ask that they remain in the bleachers. In addition, the college offers various eateries in case your parents would like to take a break from field hockey while you are playing. Our Campus Town, located at the front of campus, has a variety of businesses open. They include Panera Bread, Barnes & Noble with Starbucks located inside, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Blueberry Kitchen + Tap, Mexican Mariachi Grill, Yummy Sushi, Blazin’ J’s, IndiGrill, Frutta Bowls, Insomnia Cookies and Red Berry Frozen Yogurt. There is also a Dunkin Donuts a block from the campus. If your parents turn right out of the main entrance of the college, the Dunkin Donuts will be on the left hand side just prior to the traffic light and within the same location as Lukoil.
