TCNJ Prospect Camp is for advanced high school players with the aspiration of playing collegiate baseball in the future. The TCNJ coaching staff will guide each player through a pro style showcase. The showcase will include 60 yard dash, defensive instruction/showcase, and hitting instruction/on field batting practice. Following the showcase, a simulated game will be played giving every player the opportunity to play in a live game. Each pitcher will throw at least 1 Inning in the simulated game. Metrics from the day including 60 yard dash time and throwing velocities will be recorded.
For 2-way players, please select Pitcher as your primary position and your main defensive position as your secondary position.
What to bring:
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, hat, baseball pants, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Hitters must bring their own helmets.
Lunch will NOT be provided. However, there will be a 30-45 minute break after the showcase and before the simulated game for players to eat a lunch that they brought themselves.
